Amy’s Mississippi Girl Roast

Ingredients

  • 1 Ozark Valley Beef Company Wagyu Roast (approximately 3-4lbs.).
  • 1 jar of pepperoncini’s with juice.
  • One stick of butter.
  • One seasoning package of Au Jus.

Directions

Allow your roast to come to room temperature. spray your crock pot and place roast inside sprinkle with the packet of au jus and pour pepperoncini’s over top cut butter up in chunks and place in crock pot cook on low for 6 to 8 hours ( we don’t like ours well done so I tend to only cook for 6 hours) our favorite way to eat these is pulled apart on buns hoRemove thawed roast from refrigeration and allow approximately 1 hour to let the roast come to room temperature. Coat the interior of your crock pot with non-stick cooking spray. Place roast inside and sprinkle contents of Au Jus seasoning package on top of roast. Pour pepperoncini’s (with juice) on top of roast. Cut stick of butter into chunks or pats and distribute on top. Cook on low for 6-8 hours (we don’t like our well done so I tend to cook for only 6 hours). Pull apart finished roast with two forks and serve your shredded Wagyu beef roast on buns or hoagie rolls. Add some au jus on the side for dipping. Delicious!
